Is this the official app of the local public transport authority?
No, this app is not an official public transport app. It is an independent application and does not operate on behalf of transport operators. For this reason, we cannot influence transport operations or staff behavior. We use publicly available timetable data to help you plan your journeys more easily.
Why does the app sometimes show that a vehicle has arrived when it hasn’t?
It’s important to note that the app displays 2 types of arrival times. Real-time information is marked with a green indicator and is based on GPS data from vehicles that support live tracking. The second type is a scheduled time, which is calculated using the official timetable provided by the local public transport operator.
Real-time data is accurate in most cases, but occasional differences can occur. These are sometimes difficult to fully compensate for, as the information depends on data provided by the transport operator’s systems. Real-time data is based on two key elements: time and the vehicle’s location. In some situations, a vehicle may send only one of these elements, which requires additional calculations and can lead to minor inaccuracies.
This is especially noticeable during traffic congestion, when vehicle movement becomes less predictable and precise calculations are more challenging. Accuracy can also be affected by temporary signal interruptions or incorrectly configured devices inside vehicles.
Scheduled times are calculated based on the departure from the first stop and the arrival at the final stop, taking into account the number of stops and the distance between them along the route. Using this information, we estimate an approximate arrival time for each stop.
However, this type of time is accurate only when vehicles follow the schedule closely, which is often not the case in real traffic. Delays can occur due to congestion, or vehicles may skip a stop when there are no passengers, allowing them to arrive earlier at the next stop. For this reason, scheduled times should be viewed as an approximate guide rather than an exact arrival time.
Why don’t some vehicles show real-time location?
For a vehicle to display its real-time position, it must support live tracking and have a GPS device installed. Even when GPS is available, real-time location may not work correctly or may appear inaccurate if the device is not properly configured or temporarily unavailable.
Where can I report issues with the app?
You can write to us at [email protected], but please first make sure to check and update your device’s operating system and the app itself to the latest version. If the problem still occurs, describe it as thoroughly as possible. Sending a screenshot or a short video showing the issue will help us understand and resolve it faster.
This is very important because our developers need to be able to reproduce the issue in order to fix it. Without detailed information from you, the chances of resolving the problem are much lower. There are many variables involved, and sometimes the issue may be specific to your device.
Please note that, especially on Android, we support multiple generations of the operating system and a wide variety of device manufacturers. Many devices do not run “pure” Android but use custom modifications, which can make app development more complex. That’s why it’s essential to keep both your operating system and the app up to date.
